Sharing data among insurers and public authorities is becoming increasingly seen as the path forward. However, it comes with many challenges and doubts. That’s why on 20 June 2024, Mia Ebeltoft brought together Soteria partners for an insightful webinar to discuss the journey and progress of the Knowledge Bank.

The participants included Mia Ebeltoft from Climate Risk Advisory, Ajla Alagic from Gjensidige Forsikring, Per Wiréhn representing the Department of Water and Water Environment in Asker Municipality, Geir Torgersen from Østfold University College and 7Analytics, and Marie Scholer representing EIOPA.

The webinar included presentations on insurance loss data and how it helps municipalities develop resilient plans against stormwater flooding and other natural catastrophes hitting Norway.
